The Gulf Coast Center for Precision Environmental Health’s Community Engagement Core will participate in World Ocean Day on June 6, 2026, in Galveston, Texas, as part of its ongoing outreach efforts.
The CEC team will bring the MOBI COACH to the event and host a family-friendly outreach table featuring a hands-on children’s activity, health and environmental health information, and a brief community needs survey to help inform future Center priorities.
This event offers Center members a chance to see CEC in action, learn more about the MOBI COACH, share research interests with the community, and support GC-CPEH’s community engagement mission.
Center members interested in joining the CEC team at the event may contact Haley Love, Cynthia Hallmark, or Lance Hallberg. Members with flyers, educational materials, or project resources to share are also encouraged to send them to the CEC team in advance so the team can coordinate their distribution.
