Scheurer named to oncology society

GC-CPEH Translational Navigator, Dr. Michael Scheurer, professor of pediatrics – hematology and oncology, and co-leader of cancer prevention and population sciences at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center, has been voted president-elect of the American Society of Preventive Oncology. He will serve in this role for two years and then serve as president for the following two years. ASPO is a multidisciplinary society committed to advocacy for cancer prevention and control research.
