Dr. Stephen Linder, GC-CPEH member, was recently appointed to the Board on Environmental Change and Society (BECS) of the National Academy of Sciences. BECS focuses on the intersection of environmental change and human behavior, and addresses the social, political and economic factors at work behind our changing climate. Dr. Linder is the director of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston’s Institute for Health Policy.
