The Gulf Coast Center for Precision Environmental Health (GC-CPEH), a multimillion dollar Texas Medical Center effort jointly led by Baylor College of Medicine, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, has been designated as a Center of Excellence in environmental health sciences research from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).
